About the NLWA
The purpose of The Northwood Lake Watershed Association is to preserve and protect the quality of Northwood Lake and its surroundings for the collective interests of lake users. In 1992 a group of concerned Northwood Lake residents formed the NLWA to deal with the worsening milfoil infestation problem. Since then, our activities have continued to include the monitoring and mitigaton of variable milfoil in our lake, as well as providing educational resources to our members and the lake community at large. Our elected officers and directors come from all three towns that have a shoreline on Northwood Lake, Northwood, Deerfield, and Epsom. The Northwood Lake Watershed Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit New Hampshire corporation in good standing.
